Minority shareholding

No, you won’t lose any control. The biggest advantage of a minority shareholding (5%-15%) is that your employment agency remains yours. You remain in charge of your employment agency and we advise you where necessary. You benefit from our experience, knowledge, proactive approach and capital.

You’re planning plan to sell your employment agency in a few years, but not right now. For now you want to grow. We can help you grow in the years leading up to the sale by adding value with our knowledge, expertise and capital. This will increase the sale price, so you can sell your employment agency for maximum profit.

Acquisition process

Our shareholding ranges between 5% and 15%. The exact amount is determined based on our conversations with you. It depends on several factors, such as the type of employment agency, its financial health and your growth potential. After an audit of accounts, we will determine the value of your employment agency based on the financial results of the past few years. Everything in consultation with you, of course.

An audit of accounts means: an inspection of your employment agency’s financial records. Based on the documents you provide we assess the financial health and potential of your employment agency. The specific documents we need vary depending on the employment agency.

In the initial exploratory phase, you don’t need to involve an accountant, jurist or business broker. However, it is advisable to have specialists assist you in a later phase to expedite the process (from valuation to the final agreement) and to protect all your interests.

Yes, all conversations are confidential. Beforehand, all parties involved will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This NDA is drafted by our legal department and obliges the parties to treat the received information with care and confidentiality.

The entire process, from the initial meeting to the acquisition/shareholding, typically takes two to four weeks.

That’s why it’s important to us that your employment agency has been in business for at least 3 years, has at least 5 permanent employees, a minimum annual profit of €80,000 per year and a healthy ratio of temporary workers (70%) to self-employed persons (30%). Don’t quite meet all the criteria yet? No worries! If you have a strong drive to grow, we’re happy to have a conversation and explore the possibilities together.
